Reminder - Nominate for the 2024 eprivateclient Crown Dependencies NextGen Leaders now

News Team, 28/03/2024

Nominations remain open for the 2024 eprivateclient Crown Dependencies NextGen Leaders list.

Last year the annual listing superseded the eprivateclient Channel Islands Top 35 Under 35, which launched in 2018 to complement the annual eprivateclient UK and UK Crown Dependencies Top 35 Under 35 and ran successfully for five years. We decided it was time to rebrand the initiative, to reflect changing trends in the modern workplace.

As part of the change, we removed the age limit, instead focusing on the number of years of qualified work experience. This ensures that we are not excluding those who may have had career breaks or career changes. Instead, the initiative is open to anyone with 20 years or less industry experience.

We also removed the cap of 35 men and 35 women making the final list, meaning we will be able to recognise any number of individuals, provided they meet the high standards set out in the judging criteria.

This year we have further evolved the initiative to recognise the role that young practitioners in all three Crown Dependencies - Guernsey, the Isle of Man and Jersey - play in shaping the global private wealth sector.

The 2024 eprivateclient Crown Dependencies NextGen Leaders is open to nominees from within the private client advisory professions be they private client tax, trust, dispute resolution and family lawyers, accountants or trustees.

Senior practitioners and the wealth management community are invited to nominate any outstanding Guernsey, Isle of Man or Jersey-based young professional that they work alongside or do business with.

It is open to anyone with 20 years or less of wealth management experience.

Judging is based on the qualities and achievements of the individual. Other factors taken into account include the reputation or performance of the company that the nominee works for, feedback from superiors, as well as trajectory of promotion/business development success and age (i.e. younger individuals achieving relatively senior positions).

If the individual is involved in volunteering outside of work, or mentoring and advocacy within the industry, please make note of this.

If you would like to nominate yourself or a colleague to be considered, please complete the form below by Friday 26th April.

The 2024 eprivateclient Crown Dependencies NextGen Leaders initiative is kindly sponsored by Brooks MacDonald.
