Scottish law firms to merge

Scottish law firm Davidson Chalmers is to merge with Glasgow boutique law firm Kergan Stewart on 1 May 2019.

The newly formed Davidson Chalmers Stewart will combine 16 partners and 45 staff creating a team of commercial legal experts focused on the needs of business clients from across Scotland and beyond. All existing roles will be retained in the new business.

Andrew Chalmers, founding partner of Davidson Chalmers, will be managing partner within the merged firm, while Alan Stewart, founding partner of Kergan Stewart, will take up the role of chairman.
