SRA calls for regulation of non-authorised CILEX members

The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) has launched a consultation on rule changes needed to allow the potential regulation of non-authorised Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX) members.

Non-authorised members make up around 47 percent of CILEX membership. This includes 2,386 chartered paralegals, 3,341 CILEX paralegals and 2,176 CILEX students.
