SRA finds firms aware of SLAPP issues but lack clarity

The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) has found firms are aware of SLAPP issues, but need to be clearer when instructing third parties.

The finding came following the publishing of a thematic review looking at law firms' understanding of best practice to avoid getting involved in strategic lawsuits against public participation (SLAPPs).
