Just one third (34 percent) of Britons feel “in control” of their finances, according to research from UK personal insolvency practice Creditfix.
The research, which surveyed 1,000 adults in the UK, also found that the majority (57 percent) couldn’t confirm the current amount in their bank account, with 14 percent admitting to only checking their bank account twice a month.
Just 20 percent of British adults log their monthly outgoings each month to keep track of their finances.
