UK law firm Winckworth Sherwood has strengthened its family team with the appointment of a new partner, Amanda Andrews.

Ms Andrews joined the firm on 22 December 2016 from family law boutique Levison Meltzer Pigott, where she was a partner. She was until 2012 a partner and head of family law at regional firm Cripps Harries Hall.

Ms Andrews has more than 20-years experience in all aspects of family law, especially complex children matters, finance including offshore trusts, and complicated property aspects and corporate structures.

“I am delighted to have joined Winckworth Sherwood and its expanding family team. The team has a first class reputation, acting for some of the City’s wealthiest individuals. I look forward to working alongside the team and to developing the practice further,” Ms Andrews said.

Emily Brand, partner and head of family law at Winckworth Sherwood added: “Amanda has a terrific standing and reputation in the family law community and we are thrilled by her decision to join the team at Winckworth Sherwood. She will be a tremendous asset to the team and to our clients.  We all look forward to the contribution she will bring.”
