Wealth manager Brown Shipley has appointed Robert Farnworth as client director in the court of protection and persona injury team.
Mr Farnworth is an experienced Financial Planner and Relationship Manager with a career lasting more than 10 years. He will be based in Brown Shipley’s Manchester office and will report to Richard McGregor, National Head of Court of Protection and Personal Injury. Robert will work within the well-established Court of Protection and Personal Injury team, strengthening this area of specialism to service and grow the national client base.
Robert joins Brown Shipley from Tilney, Towry and Frenkel Topping. In these roles, he was a Financial Planner and Relationship Manager, specifically working with serious injury litigators pre-settlement, and Court of Protection deputies post-settlement. As a qualified Wealth Manager, Robert has a wealth of experience acting as expert witness to the court, advising on periodical payment suitability, personal Injury trusts, minor trusts and pension losses. As well as this, he regularly conducted APIL and Law Society CPD accredited training nationwide for various professional groups, ensuring he will be a valuable addition to the team. With a passion for his specialism, Robert is a long-standing volunteer at Headway and regional fundraiser for the Child Brain Injury Trust.
