Brown Shipley has boosted its investment team with the appointment of Shanti Kelemen as investment director, as the wealth manager aims to develop its investment proposition.
In this newly created role, Ms Kelemen will report to chief Investment officer Toby Vaughan. She will work closely with him in a variety of areas including the management of discretionary portfolio models, investment processing and investment communication.
Ms Kelemen joins Brown Shipley from Coutts, where she worked for over seven years, most recently as a portfolio manager and director. She has also worked for notable firms such as the Royal Bank of Scotland and Boston Capital. Over her 11-year career in the investment industry, she has also gained experience across various financial sectors, including working in investment banking and asset management with a particular focus on derivatives.
