Robeco’s Global Consumer Trends fund has been ranked first among SharingAlpha’s recently highly rated funds, according to its latest monthly report covering August 2021.
SharingAlpha has placed the product at the top of its rankings with a score of 4.85. Two bond funds and two growth-focused strategies round off the top five, with Seilern World Growth Fund (4.59), PIMCO GIS Income Fund (4.58), Polen Capital Focus US Growth Fund (4.57) and the Jupiter Dynamic Bond (4.50) all featuring high up its list.
Alongside recently added funds, the most recent report listed the best providers and the highest rated funds by category. It revealed that Nutshell continues to be ranked as the highest rated provider with a score of 4.89, while Value Partners and LONVIA remain runners-up, both with scores of 4.70. Among the highly rated funds by category, the BlackRock Frontiers Fund is rated top among emerging market opportunities, while the Liontrust GF Specialist Situations Fund is top of the charts in the UK Equity Large Cap sector.

To record its ratings for its reports, SharingAlpha utilises three parameters on which the overall rating is determined:
- People - the experience and competitive edge of the fund manager and their team
- Price - the cost of the fund
- Portfolio - the way the strategy is run in terms of risk management
The investment platform then calculates the average ratings assigned by its users to each fund, providing a score out of five. SharingAlpha only includes ratings from users that are identified as professional fund buyers. Consequently, the results do not include ratings coming from users that are, for example, non-financial industry members or fund providers.
