Cordiant Capital, an institutional asset management firm currently investing $2.1 billion of infrastructure private debt and private equity funds, has appointed Kiran Raj to lead their South East Asian Group from Singapore.
Kiran Raj (pictured), a qualified chartered accounted and C-Suite executive, brings 25-years of global corporate, investment banking and advisory experience to Cordiant. Kiran made his mark in Asia as the former Chief Financial Officer and Director for the US Private Equity backed energy group in South East Asia, KrisEnergy, Chief Executive Officer for Energy and Infrastructure financial advisor Brighton Capital Advisors and the Head of Southeast Asia Investment Banking Execution and Director for CLSA Asia-Pacific Markets.
During his career, Mr Raj has been involved in listed and unlisted mergers & acquisitions and capital markets transactions exceeding $12 billion in transaction value. He is also an active non-executive and independent board member where his strategic experience and focus on enterprise risk management practices as well as environmental, social and corporate governance policies has played a significant part in his career.
