Janus Henderson Investors has bolstered its UK distribution team with three appointments across directorial, executive and managerial positions.

The asset manager has hired Mark Buckley as UK South East associate director, Christopher Garcia as business development manager, and Dipesh Amin as UK sales executive.

Mr Buckley joins Janus Henderson from Kames Capital, where he was helped build business relationships across London and the South East of England.  Kames saw its fixed income team decimated last year with a series of departures although has since been rebuilding its capabilities in the asset class. He has 20 years of years of industry experience and was previously at Artemis Fund Managers and Mellon Global Investments.

Mr Garcia was previously at Old Mutual Wealth, where he was responsible for new business generation in the North of England, Scotland and for it international offshore offering.

Mr Amin has moved from his role as senior sales executive at Aberdeen Standard Investments. He has previously held positions at Aviva Investors and Friends Life.
