Lombard Odier Investment Managers has expanded its range of alternatives with a UCITS equity long/short strategy for onshore investors which has a focus on sustainable investing.
The LO Funds- TerreNeuve fund is managed by Arnaud Langlois who joined the company in February 2018. The Geneva-headquartered group launched the offshore 1798 TerreNeuve fund in April 2018. This newly launched UCITS fund will carry the same investment process as the offshore version.
The fund’s strategy will follow a bottom-up approach with a sector specialist tilt, focusing on sectors including global consumer, agriculture, chemicals, environmental and medical technologies.
Jean-Pascal Porcherot, CEO of Lombard Odier Investment Manager’s 1798 alternatives said: “Following the successful launch of the offshore vehicle, the 1798 TerreNeuve Fund, we are excited to extend this to our onshore clients. The commitment of Lombard Odier IM to the strategy reflects a shared vision that the integration of sustainability into the investment process can be a strong source of alpha for equity long / short strategies and a key driver of returns.”
Lombard Odier Investment Managers has 13 offices across Europe, Asia and North America and assets under management of CHF 46 billion.
