Jeroen Huysinga

Momentum Multi-Asset Value Trust (MAVT) has appointed Jeroen Huysinga as director.

Previously, Mr Huysinga was at JPMorgan Asset Management for 23 years. He held roles including managing director in its global equities team, and lead portfolio manager in its global growth & income team.

Prior to this, he specialised in Japanese equities at Lombard Odier for over a year and held the same position at British Steel Pension fund for almost eight years.

He is currently a director of European Opportunities Trust as well as a trustee for several charitable foundations including the Brain & Spine Foundation, Invesco Cares Foundation, and John Hodges Trust.

Additionally, MAVT has declared a fourth interim dividend of 2.16p per share. This will be payable in June to shareholders on its register.

The increase in the fourth interim dividend represents an increase in dividends for the financial year up to 30 April of 7.1 percent. Dividends have increased 17.3 percent over the last five years.

The board aims to maintain the aggregate dividends for the year to 30 April 2023 at 7.20p per share, meaning a quarterly rate of 1.80p per share.

However, with rising inflation, it believes the fourth interim dividend next year will be higher than this.

Momentum Multi-Asset Value Trust plc is a UK investment trust, listed on the London Stock Exchange with net assets of £57.7 million.
