Neil Coxhead
The wealth management and professional services group Tilney Smith & Williamson (Tilney) has announced the appointment of Neil Coxhead as chief executive of its host ACD and fund administration business.
Mr Coxhead joins from Waystone, having previously held positions and CACEIS, Brown Brothers Harriman, Citigroup, Bank of New York and RBS Trustees.
The Tilney host ACD and fund administration business, which is set to re-brand to Evelyn Partners in the summer, offers a full-service fund administration solution for UK collective investment schemes. It takes full regulatory responsibility for the establishment and ongoing servicing of the funds to which it acts as the ACD or equivalent. As covered recently on fundtruffle, the role of ACD has come under increasing scrutiny in the wake the Woodford saga and other events.
Chris Woodhouse, chief executive at Tilney Smith & Williamson, commented: “I am looking forward to welcoming Neil to the group as we continue to pursue our growth plans for our host ACD and fund administration business. This represents an important part of our business, providing host ACD and fund administration services to the UK funds. I am confident that under Neil’s leadership the business will continue to excel as we prepare to re-brand to Evelyn Partners this summer.”
Mr Coxhead added: “I am delighted to be joining Tilney Smith & Williamson at such a dynamic time for both the firm and the funds industry. Tilney Smith & Williamson is one of the UK’s most respected providers of hosted ACD and fund administration services and I look forward to leading the business through its next phase of business development.”
