Active ESG equity funds brought in record inflows in September, providing a buffer against the still-rising popularity of passively managed funds.
According to analysis by Calastone, active ESG equity fund attracted a record £392 million in inflows in September. Year-to-date, such funds had seen £2.4 billion in inflows, while their non-ESG active counterparts experienced £5.7 billion in outflows.
Inflows into active ESG funds had risen 10-fold over the last year.
