London-based tax advisory firm Blick Rothenberg has called on the UK government to provide tax relief on the cost of a season ticket if it wants to encourage people back to work.
Robert Pullen, a partner at the firm, urged HMRC to provide tax relief of 50 percent of the average season ticket until the end of the tax year, paid in the same way as the flat rate home working relief of £6 per week.
