Ageing super-rich set to hand over $15 trillion to descendants

A report looking at the world’s multi-millionaire population has concluded such individuals will pass on in excess of $15 trillion over the next decade.

The report, by investor services firm IQ-EQ, considers all individuals with assets in excess of $5 million – a global group of about 500,000 people.

Regionally, 41 percent of this wealth will be transferred from the Americas, 32 percent from EMEA and 27.5 percent from Asia-Pacific.
