Another wealth manager takes on Westminster

Earlier today thewealthnet reported that at least five wealth managers will be taking up seats in the House of Commons. However, one parliamentary stalwart was omitted.

Conservative and self-described “long standing Euro-sceptic” John Baron retained his Basildon & Billericay with a convincing 67.1 percent of the vote.

He has served as the MP for this constituency since 2001.

Before entering Westminster, Mr Baron had a career in the City, having run a wide range of portfolios for charities and private clients as a director of Hendersons.
