Bankers’ bonuses, tax cuts, and investment zones feature in not so mini budget

“Unbelievable, staggering and incredible”, are the words that Nimesh Shah, the chief executive of tax and advisory firm Blick Rothenberg.

It certainly was not a mini budget, given the amount of announcements crammed into the 26 minute speech.

The mini budget was meant to mark a shift in economic policy and in many ways it did.
