Brooks Macdonald chair resigns due to ill health

Brooks Macdonald chairman Alan Carruthers has resigned with immediate effect due to ill health.

Brooks Macdonald said he has been experiencing these health issues over the last 12 months and Mr Carruthers has made this decision so he can “recuperate fully”.

In the meantime, senior independent director Richard Price will assume the role of acting chairman.

Mr Carruthers became chairman in 2019.
