Budget: Key takeaways for the private wealth industry

With some larger than expected giveaways, some might argue UK Chancellor Jeremy Hunt's Budget was rather optimistic.

Mr Hunt focused on the three key priorities set out by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in January: to halve inflation, grow the economy and get public debt as a percentage of GDP falling.

Areas of particular focus included pensions, energy bills, education and childcare.
