Banter has a negative effect on almost all financial service professionals, according to the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).
The survey carried out by the CISI received almost 750 responses with 43 percent of respondents being female and 55 percent being male.
It revealed that just 3.0 percent of those working in financial services felt comfortable with banter in their workplace, meaning 97 percent were uncomfortable.
