Cazenove Capital is opening a new office at 2 St Peter’s Square, Manchester to service its growing client base in the North West.
This is part of the firm’s strategy to build an on-the-ground presence across major UK regional hubs, allowing more clients to access to Cazenove’s full range of services with local, tailored relationship management.
The announcement follows the opening of an office in Edinburgh and its announcement of plans to create offices in Bristol, Birmingham and Leeds.
The North West team is led by Simon Pearson, previously head of the North West for UBS. He has 30 years of industry experience. Mr Peason has since been joined by six professionals in Manchester, complementing Cazenove's existing presence in Chester.
The team will service clients across the North West, including in Manchester, Chester and Liverpool and have over 100 years of combined experience of working with high and ultra-high net worth clients in the region.
Cazenove believe the office is well placed to capitalise on growing entrepreneurialism in the North of England, where new and established business owners are expanding their businesses in sectors including fashion, manufacturing and technology. Recent regional PMI data highlighted that North West business activity is rising at its fastest rate since 2017.
