The City’s own “superwoman” Nicola Horlick has announced she will stand as a Liberal Democrats candidate in London at the next general election.
Ms Horlick, a fund manager, entrepreneur, and author with six children, will run in the 70 percent remain voting constituency of Chelsea and Fulham. The sitting MP is Conservative Greg Hand.
Though she has kept a lower profile in recent years, Ms Horlick was dubbed “superwoman” by the 1990s press as she raised a large family while active in the male-dominated City of London where she held directorship at Mercury Asset Management, Morgan Grenfell and SG Asset Managemen...
