Covid-19: Santander's Madrid employees asked to work from home

Santander’s board of directors held an extraordinary meeting yesterday to review the ongoing coronavirus outbreak and the bank’s corresponding contingency plans. 

The board decided to ask its employees in the corporate centres located in Madrid to work from home for the next 15 days.

The goal was to prevent contagion and ensure that the bank continues to serve its customers normally.
