Forecasting financial markets often seems to be a mission impossible.

Nonetheless it would be difficult to argue with the assertion made by Solus Capital Partners’ Ciaran Mulhall in his most recent market commentary for RJMG Asset Management, that the third quarter of 2020 is not going to look like the second quarter, especially in terms of investment performance.

Of course Mr Mulhall could have made exactly the same comment at the end of a first quarter...
