Credit Suisse chairman resigns following probe into ‘personal actions’

The chairman of Credit Suisse - António Horta-Osório – has resigned with immediate effect following an internal probe.

He was reportedly found to have breached the UK’s Covid-19 quarantine rules. He only held the role for eight months.

Mr Horta-Osório said: “I regret that a number of my personal actions have led to difficulties for the bank and compromised my ability to represent the bank internally and externally.
