Credit Suisse has hired Kinner Lakhani as its head of group strategy and development, based in Zurich and reporting to chief executive Tidjane Thiam.

Mr Lakhani joins from Deutsche Bank, where he was head of European company research & advisory, as well as head of European financials research, having joined the bank from Citigroup in 2015, where he was co-head of the European banks research team.
