Diary of a Private Banker: How bloody awful are your wealthiest clients?

We all have, very unfortunately, some really disgracefully rude private clients, those who conduct themselves as if the sun shone out of their nether regions.

Unsurprisingly, there has been discussion in private banking circles of late about the expanding number of punters who are unpunctual, aggressive and disgusting—and what type of retaliation is acceptable.

For it is not unknown for some banks to ask the client politely to leave the premises, and take their account elsewhere, in exasperation over their behaviour.

Of course, those with a lowly £100,000 can be asked never to darken our doors again fairly ...
