Some 95 percent of people at Coutts & Co are now working at home, part of the national effort to help slow the spread of Coronavirus, and so leaving its HQ on the Strand with a skeleton staff.

That means the bank is increasingly having to rely on communications technology to keep everyone in the loop – whether at home or in the office.

First key contact point is the bank’s intranet, called Coutts Connected, where any employee can post messages of interest, from upcoming training to its latest investment performance.
