EFG’s chief risk officer steps down

EFG’s chief officer, Raj Singh, will leave his role on 31 December 2020.

The firm said he is stepping down to “pursue his external mandate portfolio and other outside opportunities.”

Mr Singh joined EFG in January 2019 and has played a key role in shaping a uniform risk management framework across the combined business, following the acquisition and integration of BSI.

A new chief risk officer will be announced in due course.

EFG also announced changes to its board of directors. Dr Spiro Latsis has decided not to stand for re-election at the next Annual General Meeting in April 2021.
