Multi-family office Alvarium has appointed Marcus Porter, a veteran of PwC and Deloitte, as a managing director in its London office, thewealthnet can reveal.

Mr Porter previously worked for PwC for nine years, where he led the London investment business. Prior to this he spent nine years at Deloitte in an investment advice capacity, during which time he worked with the senior team at what was then LJ Partnership (now Alvarium).

Mr Porter also sits on the PAM Awards judging panel.
