FCA fines firms £568 million in single year

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) handed out fines totalling £568 million to financial services firms in 2021. 

The £568 million total comprised fines against major banks and action against individuals for insider dealing, non-financial misconduct and carrying out regulated activities without authorisation.
