The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has made three senior hires as it ramps up its focus on technology and sustainability.
Ian Alderton becomes chief information officer (CIO), while Ian Phoenix becomes director, intelligence and digital.
Mr Alderton now permanently takes on the role, having temporarily joined the regulator in January.
As CIO, he is driving a technological change programme designed to help the FCA regulate the 60,000 financial services firms under its remit.
