FCA puts LSE chairman in as head of its markets panel

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has appointed non-executive chair of the London Stock Exchange (LSE) Michael Findlay, as chair of its independent ‘markets practitioner panel’.

Mr Findlay will take up the post from 1 July 2021, succeeding interim chair Tim Waddell, an EMEA executive at Bank of America.

The FCA’s chair Charles Randell said Mr Findlay would bring “deep capital markets and corporate experience”.
