Former beauty queen becomes wealth chief executive

Standard Bank has appointed Peggy-Sue Khumalo as its chief executive for wealth in its South Africa division.

Ms Khumalo was the winner of Miss South Africa beauty pageant in 1996. 

She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and institutional experience having served Investec for 17 years, with her career culminating in her appointment as head of public sector and BEE financing for Investec in 2013, Standard Bank said, in an announcement.
