Barry Bateman, a former vice-chairman of Fidelity International, and his son James, are the two founding directors of a new London-based investment management boutique called New Value Investment.
The new firm incorporated on 11 October according to a filing at Companies House, the same month that James Bateman officially quit his post as chief investment officer, multi-asset at Fidelity International.
“Subject to regulatory approval, New Value Investment Limited plans to offer equity and multi asset strategies based on the company’s proprietary new value investment philosophy,” says its website.
