Handelsbanken's UK wealth operation shows resilience

Handelsbanken Wealth Management now manages £3.5 billion in the UK. This figure relatively flat - it sat at £3.4 billion at the end of 2017 - but in a year when many wealth managers saw their assets under management dip as volatile markets took a toll.

Handelsbanken Wealth Management is the trading name for Heartwood Wealth Management, which was acquired by Swedish parent Handelsbanken in 2013.

Handelsbanken has been active as a retail bank in the UK since 1982. It has 208 branches and focuses on customers with higher incomes and good credit.
