HSBC UK has released a list of 20 recommended multi-asset funds for self-directed investors, as scrutiny of such ‘best buy’ lists heightens.
HSBC said its new list would make it easier for customers to build their own investment portfolios, and that the ‘Funds Shortlist’ was monitored by its analysts to ensure the included funds stayed within the given risk/reward profile.
The bank said research by Ipsos Mori showed clear demand for simple customer “journeys”.
