A new survey has identified a growing desire for funds to have an ESG rating from an independent rating agency.
Seventy-seven percent of wealth manager recipients in February identified an ESG rating as fundamental in their investment decision making, compared to just 10 percent of survey participants nine months prior.
Meanwhile, just 24 percent of investors were concerned about a fund manager’s stewardship record when selecting investment funds.
The survey, by ETF provider Tabula Investment Management, was conducted among 100 UK and European wealth managers in February 2021.
