Indian HNWs looking to increase exposure to real estate

Nearly a third (28.6 percent) of Indian high net worth (HNW) individuals are currently investing in real estate, according to the Hurun Research Institute, and this figure is expected to grow to 30 percent in the coming years.

The survey gathered information from 831 wealthy Indians, 58 percent of which were men and 42 percent were women.

After real estate, gold was the next most popular investment asset class as cited by 19.1 percent, followed by stocks (17.1 percent).
