Investment manager Saltus is spinning its financial planning business off into a separate entity as a means of preserving its independence – a decision it says is “markedly different from the general direction of the industry”.
Saltus Financial Planning (SFP) became an independent entity on 1 November, and Saltus managing partner Jon Macintosh said the move would allow the firm to offer a wider selection of investment solutions to its clients.
