The Hargreaves Lansdown Investor Confidence Index has reached a ten month high in March 2019 of 80 points.

This equals the May 2018 level and is a significant increase from December 2018’s record low of 52. However, it is still below the 10 year average of 91.

Investor confidence has risen steadily this year in all markets except for Europe, which managed just a small gain in March.

Sentiment in the UK is now considerably stronger than it was, however it continues to lag behind other major equity markets, except Europe, which is bringing up the rear.
