Investors provide new life for UK wealth boutiques launched by Goldman Sachs and Royal Bank of Canada alumni

Since its launch in 2003 thewealthnet has reported on the launch of many new firms.

Some have flourished. Most have gone to become commercially viable. But others have disappeared without trace.

The road to commercial oblivion can be long and winding. A firm can survive for a number of years before either going out of business or being acquired by a peer.

RMG Wealth Management (RMG) and Monogram Capital Management are two firms that appear to have followed the latter route.
