JP Morgan revives high net worth effort with new unit

JP Morgan in the US is revamping its wealth management operation as it struggles with a meagre market share in comparison to its rivals.

The bank is set to create a new wealth unit in the US aimed at clients with up to $25 million in liquid assets, and including its new online brokerage service You Invest. JP Morgan’s private bank for the super wealthy, which operates in the UK, remains separate.
