Lombard Odier profits benefit from inflows, client activity

Private banking and asset management group Lombard Odier has reported a 15 percent increase in operating income, as it benefits from strong inflows and increased client activity.

Operating income for full-year 2020 was CHF 1.4 billion, while consolidated net profit was CHF 208 million, up 19 percent year-on-year.

Net new money flows were supported by positive market movements, total client assets at end-December 2020 stood at CHF 316 billion, up 6 percent from end-December 2019.
