Asset manager and multi-family office VAR Capital has made two senior hires.

Omair Sattar becomes a partner at VAR, joining from Julius Baer where he was a director and private banker, covering UK non-doms and non-resident Indian clients.

Prior to this, he worked with VAR Capital founders Rajat Sharma, Vikash Gupta, and Ashish Vasudeva at Barclays Wealth in the ultra-high net worth team.

Meanwhile Tom Graham has been named as the firm’s new head of credit.
