New analysis shows 'disappointing' progress on investment sector pay gap

New analysis of the investment industry’s gender pay gap, published today by the Diversity Project, shows modest progress since mandatory reporting began.

The median salary pay gap has narrowed from an average 31.5 percent to 27.6 percent and the bonus pay gap from 56.3 percent to 49.1 percent, a 12 percent and 11 percent improvement respectively, since 2017.

On a shorter-term basis between 2019 and 2020 there has been a 5 percent improvement in the median gender...
