A new wealth manager focused on the investment needs of US ex-pats has set up in London.

Leifbridge – a spinoff of 2010-founded investment management, custody, and dealing firm Shard Capital Management – will offer discretionary investment management and advisory services to Americans living in the UK.

It will not offer tax advice, but its website says its advisers have “practical experience of the UK and US tax landscape” and the firm has a referral network for clients needing a tax specialist.
