Optimism grows as UK GDP up 2.3%

UK GDP grew by 2.3 percent in April as the economy started to reopen.

Hinesh Patel, a portfolio manager at Quilter Investors, thinks the government will be “pleased with the direction the economy is heading,” particularly as April’s data doesn’t take into account all of the lockdown easing to date.
